In the final battle, she and King Mickey fought Vanitas, who had possessed Ven, defeating him in the end.Īfter placing Ven in Castle Oblivion, a place that she created, she looks for Terra. She is also forced to face Vanitas, the darkness from Ventus' heart, on a few occasions and learns the truth of Ventus' existence. She tells Sora to save Riku if ever falls to the Darkness. Along the way, she visits the Destiny Islands and meets the young Sora and Riku.
Throughout her journey, she pursues Terra, trying to bring him back. Aqua is like Ven's older sister to him and she is always taking care of him. She serves under Master Eraqus as a student and is the only one out of Ventus (still too young), Terra, and herself to pass the Mark of Mastery exam at the beginning of Birth by Sleep. She is very stoic but also filled with justice and always does what's right. She has the aspect of creating lucky charms for her friends like Kairi but is also self-sacrificing like Sora.
